Mixcloud no.02: Aeroplane Denim

Aeroplane Denim

This is my new mixcloud, featuring some songs that I am listening to when I am editing films late in these quiet nights. It’s the second podcast I put together, and this time I chose a bit of American Beauty, a bit of the magicians, and a bit of harp. I hope you enjoy the sounds!

(This is a photo of the Empire State Building that I captured in today’s foggy evening. More will follow soon in a calendar collection of my impressions of NYC.)

Coming up: Somewhere

Somewhere

‘Somewhere’ is an ongoing project of mine, with soundscapes in the place of impossible images. I will soon tell you more about it as I will publish it in a new page in the website by the end of March. In the meantime though, I suggest you explore this vivid selection of soundworks, created and curated by the ICA- I discovered it after my visit there yesterday and I think it’s a great project and resource.

Love/Here

Love/Here

I’ve just created this diptych. The photograph is from my recent shoot with my brightly talented friend, Leon, in London- and I guess I will be able to share more from that day soon.

Coming up: Dark Love of a Wild Generation

Tomorrow we will be releasing the film documentary of Nikos Erinakis und die Haken, that hopes to stand as a visual poem on the wild world that they create through music and words. It is called “Dark love of a Wild Generation” and it is almost an hour long- the longest film I ‘ve created yet.

Meanwhile, above you can see the first part that we had published earlier this year- a short one that follows them on their preparations of their studio recordings in Athens, GR. I hope you enjoy it -more tomorrow.
