I’ve just created this diptych. The photograph is from my recent shoot with my brightly talented friend, Leon, in London- and I guess I will be able to share more from that day soon.
A new collage that I made- it will soon be part of a new page that I will add in the website, featuring ideas from my scrapbooks.
Here is the all new Ryan McGinley Purple Book, a special edition that documents and shares the process of his cross-country trips of the last decade. I think it’s very sentimental.
“Life is just more exciting with a camera in my hand. Taking pictures feels right, more right than anything else in life. I have to respect and honor the insanity of it all. Photography is where we live. I’m going if you’re going. This is the road trip. This is how we do it. Join the circus and run away from home. The journey is the destination.” RM
I’ve got incredible respect for his work, vision, character and life. Forever young and kind, and on the move for the better.
As part of the moodboards I am preparing for a new project , I am exploring acrylic colors on gels and papers. That’s a first result and I’m lovin the yellow. It took days to dry but the texture is very interesting. Let’s see what will happen with the cold palette too- blues to follow!
Here is another film still from Nikos Erinakis und die Haken film that is on the way. It will be released shortly, in tune with their upcoming gig in Athens. In the meantime, this is their new website, which also features some of the visuals that we have created together:
The music is getting wilder and wilder.
This is an outtake from my recent shoot with lovely Mariame from Fusion model management. More photographs will follow in respective time, as I am planning to create a portfolio album that will feature a collection of pictures from the test shoots I have been doing in New York city.
This is a video I edited for Roger Dubuis and SHOWstudio, showcasing the process of the creation of the house’s latest campaign by Nick Knight. Film direction by Nick Knight, featuring Daphne Guinness. Fashion direction by Alexander Fury and Daphne Guinness.

During the last few days, we’ve been staying in the studio because of the storm and working non stop on the music documentary of Nikos Erinakis und die Haken. While we are adding the final touches to the cut, we are also finalising the transitions and the script that will lead the viewers smoothly through the boy’s journey of recording their second work. You can see the first part here and above, you can find a sneak peak from what’s going to come.
These are some film stills from the recent shoot that I just completed in downtown Athens ; the footage is going to be added in the second part of the documentary of Nikos Erinakis und die Haken that I will be finishing in October. The images of my city in black and white are the perfect scent that I can take with me before I leave it again – I always miss Athens terribly.
Special thanks to my beloved friend Rafaela, who was my driver through the nighttimes !
