I can’t say much yet, but lately I have been working on the art direction of a very exciting newborn project. The diptych above, which stands out from the very initial moodboards that I am preparing at the moment, is only a little hint!

SHOWstudio: Velvet – Roger Dubuis Uncut Footage
SHOWstudio has published the uncut footage of the Velvet shoot for Roger Dubuis, featuring Daphne Guinness. As I had posted in the blog earlier this winter, I had done the editing of the fashion film that showcases the process and in order to prepare that one, I had also polished this one. It’s 9 hours long and I guess it applies more to the demand of dedicated photographers and creatives alike, but I find it really interesting to see the whole shoot revealed. Sometimes it can be pure magic.

Power of Making
‘Power of Making’ is a very interesting exhibition I visited today, at the V&A museum, celebrating craftsmanship and skills in contemporary culture. Among the hundreds of crafted objects on show, I was particularly grasped by the 3D printing technologies that keep on evolving rapidly as well as by the ‘spray-on’ fabric that you can see in the image above.
SHOWstudio: Les Smokings- Mugler
SHOWstudio has a brilliant new website and loads of fresh stuff coming up the one after the other! So, one of the latest process films that is now online is that of Mugler’s devised performance; as part of the Les Smokings project, the creative team of this fantastic house took up the LiveStudio for a day in order to construct a one-off tuxedo out of liquid latex, glitter and so much more. Following the linked image above, you can see the final video which I was editing during most of the previous days.
[The complete series of the edited films I worked on
can be found at the portfolio section of this website,
under the title "SHOWstudio I-Les Smokings".]
SHOWstudio: Les Smokings- Craig Lawrence
This is the final edit of Craig Lawrence‘s amazing process of creating a unique smoking jacket, during a 3-day residency on SHOWstudio’s creative headquarters. You can read more on this SHOWstudio project here.
