One’s Hands

One's Hands

Here is the photographic essay that I did for Nevazine, an online magazine that approaches topical content with a prominent affinity for intimacy and nostalgia. ‘One’s Hands’ is a photographic project on solitude and togetherness, exploring the melodies and the silences that people’s little hands can reveal. Through black and white close-ups of fingers, palms and wrists, it focuses on intimacy (or the lack of it) in a personal space; intimacy towards one’s own self, intimacy towards an other. The images captured go around different feelings, and they aim to arouse a personal sense of connectedness in a world full of distances.

I will soon be able to feature it all in here, but up until then, I suggest you take your time to explore Nevazine, which is so well made.
