SHOWstudio has published the uncut footage of the Velvet shoot for Roger Dubuis, featuring Daphne Guinness. As I had posted in the blog earlier this winter, I had done the editing of the fashion film that showcases the process and in order to prepare that one, I had also polished this one. It’s 9 hours long and I guess it applies more to the demand of dedicated photographers and creatives alike, but I find it really interesting to see the whole shoot revealed. Sometimes it can be pure magic.

‘Velvet’ project launch at SHOWstudio
SHOWstudio just launched ‘Velvet‘, a stunning series of images that celebrates Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis, featuring Daphne Guinness. Check out the editorial gallery by Nick Knight as well as the process film that Marie Schuller and I edited for the project earlier this year. It’s pretty amazing and I am very happy to see it going public with such a comprehensive presentation.

SHOWstudio: Café Conversation #3
As part of SHOWstudio Shop’s latest exhibition ‘The Café’, this third Café Conversation of artist Henry Krokatsis and Dr.Ingrid Wassenaar is my favourite; both in terms of the interesting concepts they are diving into but also because I had the chance to meet them in person and capture them talking (my picture is the one that appears as the thumbnail of this video too)!

SHOWstudio: Gareth Pugh S/S 2012
